Coaching for a More Human Centered Approach to Leadership

I am passionate about coaching is because of the positive impact that authentic leaders can have on others lives and their communities.

My BHAG (big hairy audacious goal) is to create 1,000,000 inspired leaders by 2033.  Each leader who finds inspiration in leading others, impacts the next generation of leaders, and so on, and so on. My approach to coaching is based on neuroscience to change behaviors and beliefs based on how the brain works. My coaching training was completed at the Neuroleadership Institute, and my professional background includes experience working at the Executive level.

I love working with passionate leaders that are constantly looking to up their game and those who have a growth mindset.

Leadership is so important as it can impact hundreds of people's lives in ways that are often invisible to the leader, and leadership effectiveness has a ripple effect.  The leaders that I have worked (the great ones and the ones still learning...) certainly have served as a blueprint for my leadership approach during my career.

LOST BETWEEN LIVES

Daniel Holden

“Once your sacred self lets you experience turning to compassionately face yourself as you truly are, I am convinced that deep, imperceptible change begins to occur spontaneously in ways you cannot imagine.  You move from a posture of despising yourself, your body, and your painful experiences and negative feelings to a posture of openness and acceptance of yourself.  It does not mean you stop growing or changing.  That is impossible. Every living thing changes. Rather, this shift means you stop trying to order your life to do what you think it should do. You begin to enter the deeper wellspring of living and allow the truest parts of yourself to direct you. Interim places are designed to bring you to this moment.” - Daniel Holden

The Little Prince

Antoine de Saint-Exupery

“Here’s my secret.  It is very simple: we see well only with the heart.  The essential is invisible to the eyes.  It is the time you have spent for your rose that makes your rose so important. You become responsible forever for what you have tamed.  You are responsible for your rose”  - Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Double Double

Cameron Herald

"The focus and visualization techniques used by athletes can and should be applied to business. If you and your employees aren’t prepared – mentally and in all other ways – to overcome the obstacles you might face on the path to your goals, you’ll struggle to achieve them.” – Cameron Herold

Fun Ouside of Work

Outside of work, I love meditating, cooking, reading, spin class, Pilates, and hanging out with my kids. I also love to traveling to new places.

A few years ago, I had the pleasure of visiting Barbados with a cohort of Newfoundland & Labrador women entrepreneurs to see the island, do some business visioning and receive some coaching.
